A widespread investing myth is the time diversification fallacy–the belief that young people should hold riskier assets than old people. Advice #1: Great girls make bad relationship decisions all the time. You just have to be there when it happens.
Advice #2: If you want to catch a girl’s eye, it’s important to make a big first impression. It’s less important to make a good first impression. Just make it a big one.
Chad and I were talking about future presidential candidates tonight. Hopefully it doesn’t make my vote any less credible that if we disagreed I would look more closely at why he was choosing someone else. I highly respect him and know we have very similar views. He said he would do the same. That made my day.
